Partner Paediatrician - Down Syndrome Center

About the Centre:

Upasuaji International’s Down Syndrome Centre is a newly established initiative dedicated to providing comprehensive support and resources to individuals with Down syndrome and their families in Kampala, Uganda. We offer a holistic approach encompassing medical care facilitation, therapeutic interventions, family support, community outreach, professional development, and research advocacy.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Paediatrician to partner with us and play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to children with Down syndrome. The Paediatrician will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, therapists, and families to ensure that children receive the specialized care they need to thrive.

Compensation and Benefits:

Patients would be seen in paediatricians already established clinic space and pay standard rates. If paediatrician works in multiple facilities, we will request that patients be given the opportunity to access care at the facility which is most convenient and cost effective for them.

In addition, we provide financial compensation, depending on experience and commitment, for being a partner physician. We also offer valuable non-monetary benefits including opportunities for professional development which include international travel for CME, clinical rotations and conferences as well as potential involvement in research projects related to Down syndrome.
